The number of visits to this web site is growing, and I want you to know that I am grateful for everyone who comes here. This is a labor of love because Yahweh has called me to be a modern-day 'prophet' to announce the soon return of Yeshua the Messiah.
I am not a prophet in the Old Testament sense. I am a messenger. I don't receive new revelation, but occasionally I have a different perspective on ancient prophecies already given. My desire is to equip you with all the information you need to be knowledgeable about the prophecies that are being fulfilled in our lifetime. I want you to understand how important it is for God's people to know what is going on in the world and in the heavens. We are called to fight a spiritual battle, which takes prayer, faith, and at least a basic understanding of what the Bible says about end-time events.
The Sardis Project started as a simple idea. I have been working on this for the past three years. Since I currently work as a full-time pastor, the time I can spend on this is limited. I have hundreds of articles in my personal archives that I hope to eventually include here so you will have a foundation to build upon. But my pastoral work is my first calling, and I have a congregation that needs me. So please understand that there will be times when I am absent from the Sardis Project, but please continue to come back because I am not going to give this up.
I am also the primary care-giver for my wife who is on disability due to rheumatoid arthritis. Fortunately she is more self-sufficient than most, but her abilities are slowly and steadily declining.
Additionally, I have to deal every day with fibromyalgia, a disease that causes intense pain, debilitating fatigue, and weakens the muscles. Every day I find strength in Jesus, and it's His strength that keeps me going.
As if that wasn't enough, I personally face demonic opposition which, like the apostle Paul, manifests itself as 'the messenger of Satan to buffet me.' Still, I remain convinced that this message needs to be heard and understood, and I remain dedicated to preaching the TRUTH of the gospel and exposing the schemes of the devil. If that means that I will continue to be physically attacked, then so be it.
All of this is why your visits here mean so much to me personally. I desire your prayers. But most of all I want you to know that Jesus is coming very soon just as He promised. I am longing for the day when He appears, Satan is defeated, and He establishes his Millennial Kingdom on earth. I believe we are the last generation. So watch, keep oil in your lamps, and remain eager for His appearing. That is, after all, our blessed hope.
I love you all in Christ.
As a conservative Christian I am pleased with the way things are going at the moment with President Donald Trump at the helm. The executive orders he signed this morning are consistent with the promises he made during his campaign and are beneficial to the United States. I am particularly pleased with the ending of taxpayer funding of abortion overseas. I don’t believe we can accurately predict how effective this will be, but I am certainly glad that American tax dollars are not readily available for the horrific murder of innocent children. I certainly pray that God’s mercy will prevail over our nation, and that further efforts will be undertaken to eliminate abortion entirely.
I found it a bit humorous that the press became so focused on President Trump’s supposed obsession with the size of the inaugural crowd. Many lampooned the President for being petty and egotistical about all of this. But was it really just a massive smokescreen to control the media?
What got effectively lost in press coverage was the mean and malicious event that took place, the women’s march on Saturday. Certainly there was some reporting on this event, but the main stories seemed to focus on the question of why the President would be so childish as to tweet his complaint about the estimated size of the crowds. Amidst all the criticism, however, was, I believe, a wonderfully intended strategy to steal the limelight away from the despicable women’s march. Trump even used his Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, to make a bold statement scolding the press for their “inaccurate” reporting.
It worked. So does that make the President a buffoon or a genius?
Still, all is not well in our country or in our world. ISIS still flourishes, and the economies of many countries are on the brink of collapse. The presidency of the United States has a new leader, but the problems of the world still remain. We would be wise to remember that prophecy is not centered on what is taking place in the United States, but, rather, what is taking place in Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is a courageous leader who is doing an excellent job trying to protect Israel. But I am concerned about his policies that encourage Muslims and Jews to co-exist in Israel. Radical Islamic terrorism often hides in its peaceful form of Muslim expression before it reveals itself as the destructive beast that it really is.
Please don’t get me wrong. I love the Muslim people, and I pray that they will convert to Christianity as many already have. I love the stories coming from the Middle East of how so many have become Christians as a result of dreams and visions, as well as through the efforts of brave missionaries who do their best to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with as many as they can. There are many Muslims who hold Muslim beliefs mainly because that is the only message they have ever heard. When they come to Jesus Christ, it is a blessed thing to be able to call them my brothers and sisters.
But the prophecies of the Scriptures will not change because of a variance of political actions or a host of religious conversions. What has been prophesied will come to pass exactly as it has been foretold. Some prophecy thinkers equate the U.S. with Babylon, and that may be accurate. But even if that is true it is not central to the fact that in the early stages of the Tribulation 144,000 Jewish witness will be anointed as Yahweh’s messengers. The Antichrist will establish a covenant with the Jews. A new temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem. Sacrifices will be reinstated. Jesus will return and set His foot on Mount Zion – all things that concern Israel. Contrary to our pre-established traditions that the fulfillment of prophecy is all about the United States, it is actually not that easy to find our nation mentioned in prophecy.
I pray for President Trump and the entire administration. I hope his policies will reestablish Christianity as the main system of faith in the U.S. But that will not change what has already been prophesied, and it cannot undo all the damage that has already been done. America and the rest of the world has many sins to give account for. Until I see a God-centered, Jesus-centered, Holy Spirit inaugurated national repentance I will remain concerned about the spiritual condition of the United States of America.
Please join me in continuing to pray for national revival. I am hopeful that we might see another Great Awakening before the Rapture of the Church. If you do not yet know the forgiveness of sins He offers, and the redemption He has bought for you with His own blood, I encourage you to visit A Love Letter from God, There is Hope, 5 Things God Wants You to Know, My Response to an Atheist, A Step of Faith, or Held by the Hand of God on this web site so you can know how to respond to the calling of the Holy Spirit to be saved. If you make a profession of faith, please let me know so I can rejoice with you.
Blessings from Almighty God, Yahweh.
The Jerusalem Post reported today that the terror attack that killed four soldiers and wounded 17 people was the most deadly to occur since the terror wave began on September 13, 2015. The report stated, "Prior to Sunday there were 332 attacks through (sic) the country in the last 16 months, in which 42 people were killed and 619 others were wounded." This is appalling.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the soldiers and families of the victims of this cowardly act.
It is difficult for me to imagine the animosity that resides in the hearts of people who hate the Jews. I can explain it, of course. The Jews are God's chosen people, therefore Lucifer and his evil minions are doing everything they can to bring about the total annihilation of their race. He is deceiving the nations, including the current administration of the United States of America, into believing that the Jews are the reason there is no peace in the Middle East. Nothing could be further from the truth, except the devil himself.
All of this, in my opinion, is fulfilling endtime prophecy. The Apostle John wrote in Revelation 12:12, "Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the earth and the sea, for the Devil has come down to you with great fury, because he knows he has a short time."
He has a short time, indeed, for Yeshua Ha-Mashiach (Jesus Christ), is coming soon. He spoke in Matthew 24, "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: as soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near—at the door! I assure you: this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things take place" (vv. 32-34).
Do you believe that Jesus is at the door? If so, then you are doing better than most who call themselves Christians these days. So many sit in the church pews without any concern that the Lord is coming soon. They don't know much about prophecy, and they prefer to keep it that way. They are more concerned about being comfortable in the world than they are about studying the Scriptures. They don't care to hear about sin and repentance. They would rather just rest in the grace of God. They see God only in relation to His love while they remain stubbornly indifferent to His holiness.
The church shouldn't be this way. We are supposed to love the Lord's appearing. We are supposed to be telling the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead we are choosing to be ignorant of endtime prophecy. We sing 'Jesus Saves!' inside the four walls of the church building, but we never mention it to those who are without! This is shameful!
John, writing to the churches in Revelation, aptly described much of the church today. Like Ephesus we have left our first love. Like Pergamum we are engulfed in sexual immorality. Like Thyatira we tolerate sin and refuse to repent. Like Sardis we are spiritually dead. And like Laodicea we are worldly and apathetic. The church as an organized religion has become so spiritually putrid that the Lord Jesus will vomit it out of His mouth.
Let us be, instead, part of the True Church, the ekklesia. This is the Body of Christ. It is not a place where just anyone can come and join as if it were a country club or a secret society. It is the one place where Jesus places those who have come to Him in sorrow and repentance, seeking His forgiveness, forsaking our old lives, and embracing the new life He has for us - a life governed by the pursuit of holiness and righteousness rather than the pleasures of the world.
And let us not forget that the Jews are God's chosen people. They are the people that gave us our Messiah. Some are still looking for Him, but many others have already accepted that Jesus is the prophesied Savior. When Israel is attacked, we are attacked as well. We need to stand by her side and love her as God loves her. The Bible says that we are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. That peace will not come until the Millennial reign of Christ. But until then we must continue to pray and love the chosen people of God.
Our prophetic futures are delicately and irrevocably interwoven into God's divine plan. Embrace it.
Until He comes,
This question was asked by an article on Inquisitr on July 3rd of last year. This does seem to be a phenomenon that keeps appearing in different places. There are, of course, natural explanations for what is happening. As is pointed out in the Inquisitr, many Christians believe it is a sign that the end is near, but the mystery does have a natural explanation. In most instances the red color can be explained by a bloom of algae. In other cases the culprit is believed to be chemical contamination from nearby manufacturing plants. Whatever the reason, the blood red water is certainly an eerie sight.
My thought, however, is that just because we can find a natural explanation for these events, it doesn't necessarily mean that they do not have a supernatural cause as well. When the Bible predicts earthquakes will increase in the last days, that is a natural phenomenon with a supernatural cause. The blood red waters may also be a natural phenomenon (at least from the standpoint of being explainable by natural means), but that doesn't mean that God is not involved in it. We are certain of His prophecies, and we know that each one will come to pass. The fact that there is a natural and explainable cause is beside the point. If the event were predicted 2000 years ago and it happens exactly as predicted, then there is certainly a supernatural aspect to the prediction as well as the event.
On the other hand, we should also consider that these events may have a malevolent supernatural cause. If Satan can counterfeit the supernatural events that are already predicted, then he can use the counterfeit to discredit what is real (which he did in contending with Moses through the Egyptian Pharaoh). When Moses turned the water to blood, the magicians did something similar. This is Satan's way of getting people to believe that he is more powerful than God. But Satan's way is always counterfeit and deceptive, and fits the narrative of what happens to people left on earth after the Rapture of the Church as revealed by the Apostle Paul to the Church at Thessalonica.
2 Thessalonians 2:9-12
"When the wicked one appears, Satan will pretend to work all kinds of miracles, wonders, and signs. Lost people will be fooled by his evil deeds. They could be saved, but they will refuse to love the truth and accept it. So God will make sure that they are fooled into believing a lie. All of them will be punished, because they would rather do evil than believe the truth."
So, my advice to the Christian today is to not get overly concerned about any water turning blood red (unless, of course, it's the water pouring into your kitchen sink). The revelation of the blood-colored water appears in Revelation 16 which we know doesn't take place until AFTER the Rapture of the Church. The Revelation predictions, as well as all other remaining unfulfilled prophecy, will happen exactly as predicted in their proper time. The Church, fortunately, will already be in heaven when this takes place.
Does this mean that the events that are being witnessed are unimportant? I not suggesting that at all. What I want you to understand is this - there will be many prophetic events that will be fulfilled BEFORE the Rapture of the Church. But with the fulfillment of prophecy also comes the element of the unknown. Prophecy can be fulfilled right before our eyes and we may not understand its significance for many years to come. So it is difficult to point to certain predictions and state definitively that a certain event is its fulfillment. But one thing is certain. The Word of the Lord is sure. Not one jot or tittle will be lost, but all will be fulfilled. The predictions of Revelation, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah and others will be fulfilled in the right way and at the right time. The end is near - even knocking at the door.
My advice to the unbeliever is to get ready NOW! You can't shun the gospel of Jesus Christ and expect a "get-out-of-jail-free" card when you finally realize that the Church is gone. If you reject Christ now, then great deception awaits you so that you will believe the lie and be forever condemned. You will stand before the Great White Throne at the final judgment without Christ and without hope. Your final destination will be the eternal lake of fire. Please don't wait. Jesus stands at the door of your heart and knocks, hoping you will open it and let Him in. Once you know you have eternal salvation you will never regret it.
